This program provides Supportive Skills & Services for homelessness. Our goal is to positively alter the future of at-risk teens. HELP Organization Inc has established this skill-building and mentoring program called A.C.E.S: A Chance with Education for Success. The A.C.E.S. Leadership and Mentoring Program is designed to prepare youth for life on their own through training in conflict resolution, effective communication skills, leadership skills, parenting skills, transitional life skills, money management, and career guidance. The program also pairs each youth enrolled in the program with an adult committed to serving as his or her mentor for a minimum of one year.
The primary end goal of this program is to establish a campus for transitional living to help instill life skills for young men and women who are exiting foster care. The campus will provide a safe and secure environment for young men and women between the ages of 17-21 who have aged out of their foster care settings. The campus will help this special group of young people safely navigate the teams of adulthood as they move from dependence to independence.
